I am excited about putting together this simple website/blog because I love to share health & wellness with others. I want to help as many people as I can to experience better health by making healthier choices daily. This includes choosing to be more active, taking time during the day to de-stress and simply think of absolutely nothing for at least 10 minutes and choose to find the positive moments & thoughts in each day that goes by.

Initially I wrote ‘My 18 Year Weight-loss Journey’ just as a memoir, a reminder to myself of my Journey and how I lost 77 pounds (35kg) within 15 months and also to leave behind as a legacy for my children when I am no longer here. I never had in mind to publish my book on Amazon and other marketplaces.

However, after a few close friends and family read my book, they absolutely loved it and said that I could help so many people that are struggling with weight-loss everyday. I was hesitant because I am a quiet person so it seemed very hard for me to put my life experience out there.

After about 3 months of constant nagging from family and friends, I have finally decided to publish my book and list it on Amazon and other marketplaces. I thought that if I help at least one person by inspiring & motivating them through my journey then I am truly happy and content because I have made a differrence in the world one person at a time.

I have lost most of the weight without using any supplements. Towards the end of my journey I decided to trial a few natural supplements to help me and give me a boost in my weight-loss, especially the last 10kg I had left.

After trying several supplements and nutritional products such as protein shakes and on-the-go snack bars (when I didn’t have the time to prepare a meal or snack), I have decided to stick with a few favourites that are delicious and are healthier options to what I had been used to.

Please follow my blog as I share and post periodically about the nutritional products and supplements I use regularly and check the links in the main menu as well. Sometimes I add special dedicated pages with the products I use and love.

I believe health needs to be holistic therefore I have also switched to healthier skin care, cosmetics, household cleaners and laundry products such as detergent and fabric softener.

The skin is the largest organ and what we put on it is absorbed into our body within seconds. If the skin care & cosmetics we use contain harmful and toxic ingredients it will affect the rest of our body, especially the Liver (remember, the Liver is the largest fat burning organ in our body). Same goes for the laundry detergent and fabric softeners we use. Alot of it gets absorbed into our skin as we wear the clothes.

I view nutritional products & supplements as tools to help me along my journey to reaching my goal weight and developing healthier habits. I NEVER rely solely on them for weight-loss. Having the right tools is the key to getting a perfect job done. It’s like a carpenter or an electrician. The more quality tools they have, the more efficient and the faster they do the job! This is exactly what these natural tools do in my daily life. They help keep me energized, motivated, focused and help me reach my goals.
